My craziest 1.5 weeks ever....

This is pure insanity.

On the 25th of August (Thursday) I went with my grandma (and Amy and Brian, my cousins who were there too) to her house to work on fair entries with her. Fun stuff. We made bread for Bob's read contest. Mine was a baked potato bread. It was GOOD! So the next day we went to the contest. Brian won $50 and Grandma won $100. Yay. Then we wandered around the fair a bit. After we left I kept falling asleep.... I was tired. But we still had to work on our entries for the crepe contest! And Brian's entry for the SPAM kid contest (he wasn't doing the crepe contest though). We really didn't do much work on them though..... Saturday was a mad dash to get three sets of crepes done. I made a zesty chicken and ham crepe that was pretty good. At least I think it probably was, because it won me $75! Third place. Amy got second place, which was $100. So we all won something. It turned out good.

So after that Grandma dropped me off at the hotel my dad was staying it. He had just checked in with Kento. We stayed the night there, then my dad brought us home on Sunday, because he had to work for the day. That worked well, because I had anothr fair entry to work on. This one with my mom: Make it with duct tape! We made a cow being abducted by aliens, and titled it Alien Ab-DUCT-tion. We worked on it a bit, then my dad picked Kento and me up again. My mom finished it and brought it to Salem on Monday. She icked me up from the hotel and we went to the fair. We got some interesting looks, walking in with a large UFO made of duct tape with a cow suspending from it. It was fun though. We entered the contest as an adult/child team and got second place: a $75 cordless drill. Good for my mom... The contest was good for me. :D First place was this HUGE train that took two months to make... THere's no way we stood a chance against that. It was fun though. We chatted with the third place winners, who were really nice. The people at the fair asked to keep the sculptures on exhibit for the rest of the fair, which was fine by all of us. Then we went and wandered the fair. We got ice cream and I also ate a corn dog. We also saw Amy, who was there with her church group.

After the fair, I went back to the hotel my dad was staying at. My mom went home. We stayed another night at the hotel. Then on Tuesday we left early, headed north, to Seattle. We went and helped one of my dad's students move. It wasn't anything really exciting...... And the next day we helped her more. On Thursday, yesterday, we went to a Mariners game. Mariners vs. Yankees. We were up in section 307, which actually wasn't too bad. It was a GREAT game. The Yankees scored in the first inning, but that was the only time they scored. The Mariners dind't score until the 6th inning. But they scored one point each in the 6th and 7th innings. They scored THREE points in the 8th. The final score was 5-1 Mariners. They won!!!! :) It was a really good game.

So after the game we headed back towards home. It took a while.... But we finally got back to Salem. Mom picked me up and brought me back home. We watched the news a bit, then headed to bed.

And now, today. Well...... I better go, because I need to get ready to leave once again! Mom and me are going to Twin Rocks Friends Camp for family camp! :) I really do need to go now.... So I will. That's all for now! :)
